doesn’t speak pig latin! In fact, he’s never heard of it. I can not believe that. How on earth did I marry a man who’s never heard of pig latin.
He must have thought I was completely crazy when he read the email the dogs wrote him in Pig Latin…hey, he’s the one who told me they were emailing him in their secret language…I was just trying to make an honest man of him.
We now interrupt this broadcast to bring you…this post in pig latin thanks to the english to pig latin translator, which I found while I was trying to tell my husband about the site.

I got these Madeline Garbo boots from zappos the other day! I love them! I have been looking for a comfortable pair of boots for years, and I am so glad I found these. I never thought they’d really fit, lol but I was ordering some shoes that I could wear to the reunion, so I decided to get these too.
They are a little wide around my calf, but they are so comfortable, and I’m going to be wearing them with jeans mostly, so I don’t really care
I still can’t believe they are so comfortable, I haven’t worn them out yet, I’m going to wear them during the reunion weekend. Not to the homecoming game though…all we ever did was walk around the track, and I don’t want to get them that dirty the first time I wear them
These fit, and the other ones didn’t. Oh well, ain’t life grand

I got an amethyst marquise cut ring, with a sterling silver band from the Silver Jewelry Club.
It is so beautiful! I am really impressed.
It looks a lot better than the Avon ring I got last year, and that was almost 3 times as much as this one.
The silver is bright and shiny, and the amethyst is gorgeous.
I can’t believe I got such a beautiful piece of jewelry for only $5.99.
And no, I’m not just saying that because I get 50 cents if you buy one using my affiliate link. Which coincidentally just happens to be here!
So hurry, go look now!

(I’m working on getting the pic up, sorry!)
Check out this ring from the Silver Jewelry Club! I’m impressed! But I’m still waiting on my amethyst ring to come, and this is a size 7, so it’s way to big for me, boo hoo!
I have noticed that they’ve added some CZ and pink CZ to their usual lineup of gemstones! And they are making even cuter stuff now!

Wow Remember the I want to be an Anita Blake Character auction?
Guess how much this went for? $7,100! That’s more than they expected to raise, and it’s even more than they needed to fix the sewer lines at Granite City APA, which is where all the money raised from the auction will go.
That’s really impressive!
So, if price was no object, how much money would you pay to have a character with your name in your favorite book?
I don’t even know. I think $7,000 is still to much for me, but if I had that much money laying around, and all my needs and desires were taken care of (wouldn’t that be nice?) I might do it.

Yes, I’ve been having fun with the Smurf Name Generator. Wanna see what happened?
Very Tall Smurf and Slappy Smurf smurfed me, and told me to tell Noxious Smurf to smurf Chesty Smurf and Phlegmy Smurf over to play.
They really want to see Smurf, Smurf, Smurf, but they know that will happen soon enough.

I don’t sign my credit cards-I write check ID on the back. When I was in college a police officer told us not to sign our credit cards-it makes it easier for people to forge your signature if your signature is on the back of the card.
If you write “check ID” on the back, ideally, the clerks will actually look at your ID and make sure that the the name on the card matches the name on the ID, and that the photo on the ID matches the the person standing in front of them. (I have read that this doesn’t work if anyone with access to your cards has a similar name-say Bob and Bob Jr, and also has the desire to steal your credit cards. I’ve also read that in Europe they will not take your credit cards unless they have your signature on them, check ID won’t work. )
I’ve been doing this for at least 5 years, and the only people who consistently ask for ID are the post office employees. Even if someone is holding the card in their hand, looking at the check ID they don’t always ask for the ID.
Of course, with the new unassisted checkout lanes, and the little boxes that you slide your credit cards through instead of handing them to the cashier, no one except the post office usually touches the card anyways.
I’ve been to the post office a lot since I joined White Lily in May. Almost every time, I pay with my credit card (I have no balance, pay off the bill each month, and I get cash back when I use it, so why not?), and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve even had conversations with some of the employees about the fact that they are the only people who check the ID, even if they’re holding the card in their hand, reading the “check ID.”
Today, while I was at the post office, I handed the lady my card, and as she handed me the receipt to sign, she told me that it was against the post office’s policy to take unsigned credit cards, even if they say check ID!
If it’s against their policy, then why did she take the card? And if she was going to take the card although it’s against their policy, why bother to tell me about the policy that she obviously doesn’t care enough about to implement.
I just don’t understand! What was the point of the whole conversation?
