Finally!
I have a few pages up with the new layout!
All of the links in the “reviews” section don’t work, but everything else should!
If it doesn’t, please let me know!
I have contact info on the site, so you can email me from there, leave a comment, or PM me or IM me from the forums
Hope you’re having a great night! I’m off to watch the Lemony Snicket movie, and I’ll work on the website some more when I get up tomorrow!
I’m at least going to make all of the new pages I need to make, I’m not looking forward to editing the site map though!
Being the silly dork I am, I completely screwed up what I had done so far, and had to start all over
with the changes in the layout,
Oh yeah, it’s the Skidoo Too : Gargoyles Layout with different colors.

Mmm, it’s a nice day outside!
I walked out to the end of the driveway to get the paper and I could smell the flowers from the neighbor across the street.
It’s so nice!

Well, I am feeling a little happier with the Proactive.
Instead of just using the benzoyl peroxide based renewing cleanser for my face, and the salicylic acid based deep cleansing wash for my body, I have been switching it up, and using both products on my face and body.
My face and body are both looking better, but I am still having a problem with extremely oily skin and enlarged pores on my face.
I’ve also noticed that the proactive is murder on my hands - I’ve had a lot more hangnails, and more frequent nail breaks since I’ve started using the proactive, and that is the only thing that’s changed.
Have you experienced any of these problems when using proactive?
If so leave a comment and let me know about it.
Edited to add: Well the day after I write this review, I woke up with two giant white heads on my chin.
I haven’t had trouble with white heads in forever - in fact my face was looking a lot better before I used the Proactive.
So - I have stopped using Proactive.
I’ll keep you updated.

I’m testing the adsense on some of my blogs, and trying to see if I can get more clicks, which equals more money.
I’ll let you know how it goes.
Are you using adsense?
How did you get the best conversion rates on your sites, if you don’t mind sharing!

I’ve been using the waterproof mini-brush version of Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara in very black for several weeks, and I really like it.
The Maybelline website says
Lengthens and defines lashes
Exclusive mini-brush allows you to reach hard to get lashes - from corner to corner, root to tip and bottom too
Waterproof formula lasts all day without clumping or globbing
Contact lens safe and hypoallergenic
Available in Washable, Waterproof and Curved Brush
and for the most part I agree with them. I can definitely see my lashes when I use this, and the mini brush does make it a lot easier to reach those hard to get lashes.
Unfortunately I do have a tendency to end up with the slightest raccoon eyes at the end of some days.
I’m not sure if it’s my other makeup, my oily skin, or the humid weather here in the South, but most mascaras do end up smearing on me, and usually they smear a lot more than this one does!
I will definitely be repurchasing this again, and I’ll try to update you on how waterproof it is after I wear it in the ocean!
If you’ve tried this, or if you have another favorite mascara, leave a comment and tell me about it!
PS - This is definitely one time where it’s best not to let the mascara dry between coats.
If it dries it gets a lot clumpier.
I also managed to bend the mascara wand while putting it back in the tube the second time I used it, and although some people like bent wands, I’m not one of them.
PPS - If you want to see what Elke says about it, you can read her review on her blog.

get a plant just because it’s called a lipstick plant?
I got a Lipstick Mona Lisa last week.
It’s doing pretty well so far. Which is good because I don’t have the greenest thumb.
We went to the store to get strawberry plants - for some reason I’ve wanted to grow strawberries for years - it probably has something to do with the tiny little strawberries that grew near the steps at my grandparents house, and with the fact that although I like strawberries, I get sick to my stomach after eating one or two. At least if I grow them, I’m not buying them and letting them rot.
Anyways, we got the strawberries, which unfortunately seemed to be gnat infested. That was not fun, I wouldn’t even let DH bring them in the house to take them to the backyard so they could be planted.
We also ended up getting the lipstick plant, and a tomato plant.
The planter I had for the strawberries was too small, so we went to walmart for another planter, and ended up with cantaloupe and morning glory seeds, petunias for the old hanging basket, and some lily bulbs.
I also dug up some old tulip bulbs I have, so we should have a nice garden…if whatever dug a big hole in both ends of the planters will stay away and stop eating the bulbs.
I think we are off today to buy another window planter, and another hanging basket for the morning glories
What fun!
