Visit the Direct Marketing Association for more information about being put on their “delete” list.
Call 888 -567-8688 (888-optout) to stop Experian, Equifax, and Transunion from selling your name and address to banks and credit card companies.
I have done both of these, and I noticed a dramatic decrease in the amount of junk mail I received.
I also registered for the National Do Not Call Registry, and as I result I didn’t receive any telemarketing calls until I got a business license and the county sold my information :-(.
