If you are going to move to a new state, make sure you know the old states policies on registration and moves.
Otherwise, you might find out months after you moved, that even though you have insurance in your new state, and your car is registered in your new state, and your drivers license is in your new state, your registration in your old state (Don’t they cancel that when you get registered in the new state? Seriously!) has been suspended.
Because you don’t have insurance in the old state.
Where you haven’t lived.

And now stay tuned for a beauty reminder!
If you haven’t washed your makeup brushes recently it’s time to wash them.
Washing your brushes can help decrease the amount of bacteria on the brush - which can cause pimples, and it will help make sure that your makeup colors are bright and vibrant when you apply them, and aren’t muddy due to being mixed with the last color you used that brush for.
Use a mild shampoo or soap to wash your brushes, and try to make sure that you don’t hold them upside down while they are wet, or getting wet. Allowing water to run into the seam between the brush and the handle can cause the glue used to hold the brush and handle to weaken, which can cause the brush to come apart…and that’s no fun.
Dry the brushes by hanging the bristles over the edge of a cabinet, or sink, and allow them to air dry.
If you rest the entire brush on a flat surface the brushes may dry flat, and you don’t want that.

Well, I applied for another telecommuting position, in an area that’s related to the field I was in before I decided to start telecommuting.
It’s not my dream job, but I do think this is a dream position, so I am really excited, and really nervous.

It’s snowing teeny tiny little white flakes!
This is definitely going to be my first white Halloween.
DH is getting ready to carve the pumpkin, and since it starts getting dark around 5:30 he says the trick-or-treaters will probably get here before he gets home from work. 
I hope he gets home in time to see some of them.
DH soaked the pumpkin for a minute - he said it’s cold when you reach inside a pumpkin with frozen guts.
That’s definitely something I’ve never thought about!
Well, I’m off to make sure I have all the ingredients for my Spooky Shepherd’s Pie, and to figure out what I want to put on the pumpkin seeds!

Due to all of the fabulous products that Maryam from Maryam’s Soap Nook sent me, I decided that Mystical Beauty should have a new section - Etailer Reviews.
While the current reviews only review the products, etailer reviews will review the presentation and packaging of the products, give a little information about history of the products, and give details about the types of products the etailer makes, and any special ingredients or products the etailer uses.
If I purchase the items myself, I’ll also give information about the shipping times, and payment options. If the items are gifts, I won’t be able to review shipping times and payment options.
I will only be reviewing businesses whose products I have personally tried, that way I’ll know I’m giving you the best information possible.
In addition to the Etailer review, the review page will contain a link to the reviews of all of the products I have tried from that etailer - that way you won’t have to go too far to get more inormation about an etailer.
I really hope you enjoy this new feature.

I am totally going to make this Spooky Shepherd’s Pie for Halloween.
I’ve never had Shepherd’s pie with tomatoes and mixed vegetables though, so we’ll see what I do about that.

If you’ve visited the Mystical Beauty Forums before you know, thanks to Smurfette and Anita, that The Doll Palace has great dolls!
Not only do they have dolls, they have Dress Up Games and Dollmakers. These dress up games allow you to create your own doll, decorate it with clothes, hair, and accessories - including wings (like Anita and Smurfette have on their dolls), mermaid tales, and scythes - as you can see below.
Now I’m off to make me a mermaid!
*Update* I made a gorgeous mermaid, I just didn’t have time to upload it to the forums, isn’t that terrible!
I still want to see yours if you make one though 
Isn’t that just wrong.
