Good morning!

Well, I’m not the only “person” who wanted to test all the new goodies in the house.

Hunter and Scooby wanted to get in on the action too.

About a week ago I noticed Hunter chewing on my Brew Tea Balm from Crazy Rumors. I had left it in my pants pocket while I was showering.

Hunter had the cap off, but she didn’t do too much damage, since she was mainly chewing on the tube, and not the balm.

Then last night I walked into the living room, and saw Scooby happily munching away on the same lip balm, and half of the balm was gone, and the tube was all chewed up.

They said they each give it two paws up :-)

I still don’t know how Scooby got it.

He must have crawled into my chair and snatched it off the computer desk.

Bad dog.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s Time For New Brushes

Saturday, November 11th, 2006

Well, I’ve finally decided that it’s time to buy new eyeshadow brushes, after my beloved MAC brushes DH got me for Christmas were stolen from my bag on the plane ride to Atlanta.

I was actually surprised when I recieved the check from Northwest Airlines about 6 weeks after we filed the claim.

They’d actually refunded the entire purchase price - shipping and gift wrap included, so I was really excited.

DH actually didn’t think we were going to get any money from them.

The set I had was actually this set, with a different color, and case.

Unfortunately, I only used the 239 eye shading brush, so I don’t want to buy the whole kit just for one brush.

I also want a new brush blush, mine just aren’t cutting it anymore.

I didn’t like the one in the MAC set, because it didn’t pick up enough color for me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think I’m in heaven

I just tried Circe from The Body Perfumery.

Mmm….I love it.

Unfortunately their site is down, so I’ll tell you more when it’s up again.

Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veterans Day!

And thanks to all of our servicemembers (past and present) and their families!

Do you have any great Veterans Day Plans?

I’m going to check out a few craft shows, and hopefully write a few reviews.

I also get to make my first batch of Amish Friendship Bread tomorrow - actually, I think I am making muffins, but I’m excited to see how it turns out.

Of course I got the Amish Friendship Bread starter after I made my sourdough starter, so now I have 2 starters to take care of!

Doesn’t that sound confusing.

If I can ever get to the grocery store I’m going to buy some garlic so I can make some Garlic Parmesan Sourdough bread - if I have enough batter left over after I make the sourdough pizza crust.

Yum, yum.

Anyways, happy Veterans Day.

Those dreams must be getting to me - I almost wrote Valentines day. LOL.

Man it must be sea shell day

Saturday, November 11th, 2006

I’m seeing sea shells everywhere I look, isn’t that odd?

Especially since it’s November. In Minnesota.

And I’m not looking for sea shells for any particular reason.

Quality Shells, based in Sarasota, FL offers Starfish, Shells, and more.

The spider sea shell lamp is rather unique as well.

Wouldn’t that be pretty sitting on an end table in a beach themed room, or in an ocean cottage?

The seahorse sea shell curtain is beautiful too.

I’ve never seen anything like that, but I’d love to have it!

I just can’t begin to imagine where I’d put it though. Got any suggestions?

Leave a comment and let me know.

Crazy Dreams

Saturday, November 11th, 2006

I had the craziest dream last night.

I dreamt that I was looking for Sheila in her cage, and all of a sudden I saw two little snake heads, instead of one big head.

The next thing a saw there were two little snakes, which looked like garter snakes, but in my dream I knew they looked like garter snakes, but they were ball pythons gliding out from the hide.

Then I looked over and saw pink in the corner of the cage, and I realized there was a corn snake in there.

Then I see Sheila slithering about, and I thought it must have been something in the substrate.

Now don’t ask me how we could manage to add new substrate and not notice 3 snakes in it.

I think I need more sleep!

Let’s make that more crazydreamless sleep.

That was a wierd dream.
