Great Lash

Monday, March 31st, 2008

After seeing yet another mention of Maybelline Great Lash as one of the best mascaras, I have to ask.

Do you like Great Lash?

I wasn’t too impressed when I used it, but I was probably in junior high school though, so I can’t remember why.

What did you think about it when you tried it?

Lush Aromarant Deodorant Review

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

I mentioned the Lush Aromarant Deoderant in my Lush post.

I did figure out that that is what was giving me a rash on my underarms, and in addition to that it didn’t really serve it’s purpose as a deodorant.

:-(

Covergirl Volume Exact Mascara Review

Covergirl Volume Exact Mascara

I figured it’s about time to update you on Covergirl Volume Exact Mascara, which I wrote about in Covergirl Score at Target.

I really was not impressed with the Volume Exact Mascara - and I can see why it was only 94 cents.

The mascara was always smudging under my eyes, and it went on clumpy.

I actually ended up throwing it out, which I’ve never done with a new mascara before.

I’m sticking with my Voluminous Mascara for now.

What’s your favorite mascara?

Cutting Long Hair

Friday, March 14th, 2008

If you’ve had long hair for more than a week or two, you’ve probably met one of those rude people that insists upon telling you that you should cut your hair everytime they see you.

Don’t do it!

I’ve never cut my hair because someone else wanted me to, but I did cut about a foot of hair off three weeks ago because I had split ends, and I was tired of getting it caught in the car door.

Guess who noticed!

Nobody. (I did have my husband help determine if I’d cut it straight, so he didn’t have a chance not to notice.)

Even the people who wented to cut my hair, or thought my hair was too long didn’t notice.

I don’t mind that they didn’t notice, but I’m definitely glad that I didn’t cut it to make anyone else happy.

I’d have been really disappointed then.

Milani Pink Glimmer Glimmer Stripes

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

Milani Glimmer Stripes - Pink Glimmer

I recieved the Milani Pink Glimmer Stripe from Elke of the Beauty Blog Network to review for the blog.

I was really happy that they came up for review, because I’d wanted them for a while, but I’d heard that they weren’t very good, and I didn’t want to purchase them if they weren’t.

Fortunately I loved this product.

I only used the Milani Glimmer Stripes ad blush, and because they are all over color I had to use a little bit more of the stripes to get a good color on my cheeks.

They can also be used as a highlighter, or as an eyeshadow, but thought the colors were a little too pink to be used as eyeshadows with my pale skin.

I was really impressed with the Glimmer stripes, and I wish that I’d bought them earlier.
