Bacon Perfume

Monday, March 10th, 2008

I was sitting in an office last week, and a woman walked in and said “I smell bacon.”

Another woman answered “Oh, it’s her perfume.”

Which brings me to ask, would you wear bacon perfume? If so, where?

Even if I was the type of person who wore bacon perfume on a daily basis, I don’t think I would wear it in a professional setting.

Although I wasn’t in a doctor’s office when I overheard this conversation, I can’t begin to imagine how I’d feel if I went to see the doctor, and the person treating me was wearing bacon perfume, it would make me feel so much worse - even if I wasn’t feeling bad to begin with.

Or can you imagine wearing bacon perfume to your job at the veterinarians office?

I don’t think that would last long!

It might make some of the dogs warm up to you faster, but I’m sure one would eventually try to eat you.

I just had to find out what kind of perfume this woman was wearing, and I figured that if anyone would have a Bacon Perfume it would be Demeter - with fragrances like dirt, earthworm and lobster on the rolls, what’s a little bacon?

Unfortunately it looks like they don’t, and I can’t seem to find a bacon perfume anywhere.

I’m not sure if the woman in the office was really wearing bacon perfume, or if she just smelled like the bacon she’d had for breakfast that morning.

Of course I have to ask, Lobster perfume? Seriously?

Do you think lobster perfume would be better than bacon perfume?

Where would you wear it?

I can see wearing dirt or earthworm to a costume party or for a joke, but I just don’t want to walk around smelling like bacon or lobsters all day.

Can you?

If you do love the smell of bacon that much Grateful Palate doesn’t have bacon perfume, but they do have bacon air freshener, and bacon candles.

I think I’ll pass on these too.

BillyB’s Eyelash Curler Review

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with eyelash curlers.

I wanted curled eyelashes, but I started wearing hard contacts when I was in the 9th grade, so when I started using the eyelash curler I got an unpleasant surprise - my contacts would pop out.

After one to many tries I got tired of having my contacts pop out, which made my eyes water, which made the eyelash curler pretty much useless.

I stopped wearing the contacts a couple of years ago, and I was just thinking that I really should try an eyelash curler again, when I was asked if I’d live to review BillyB’s eyelash curler.

Of course I said yes.

I really like the eyelash curler - it provides a noticeable curl, without pinching.

Since I haven’t used an eyelash curler in so long, it did take me a few tries to push down hard enough to get a curl, but that was probably because I’m a chicken, and didn’t want to pinch myself.

Fortunately, I didn’t have anything to worry about.

I’m really happy to say that the quest for the perfect eyelash curler for me ended before it started!

Thanks BillyB!

PS Don’t forget to read the Billy B Lip Brush Review if you haven’t already read it.
