3 Lab “M” Cream Review

Friday, March 5th, 2010

I received the 3 Lab “M” Cream, ($250) in the last Beautyfix Kit.

“M” Cream has a nice fragrance, that’s a little strong, so the ladies that are sensitive to fragrance might want to avoid this one, or at least try it before you buy it.

Although I don’t like strongly scented face products, this fragrance didn’t bother me at all even though it did linger on my face for a while.

“M” Cream is made from stem cells from the last three remaining Uttweiler Spatlauber Swiss apple trees, which were proven to slow down and delay the aging process.

The cream is moisturizing without being too heavy.

Unfortunately, I only used the cream for a couple of weeks before my skin started breaking out.

Nothing in my routine had changed, and although I think it might have been the “M” cream there is a chance that I could be breaking out more now that the “pregnancy glow” has worn off.

I had unusually clear skin for me while I was pregnant, and now it’s back to normal.

Either way, I wasn’t willing to take the risk that it was the “M” Cream breaking my skin out, so I’ll continue to use the cream as a very expensive hand cream.

If you’ve tried “M” cream, what do you think about it?

Have you heard of anyone else breaking out from it?

Hard Candy Rumor Mill Nail Color Review

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

I received the Hard Candy Just Nails in Rumor Mill ($6 at Walmart) to review.

The color is a deep purple, that looks black in the bottle.

I tried this polish on my toes, and I was a little surprised at the color because it looks so dark that I really thought it was going to be black.

I used this polish without a top coat or a base coat (horrible I know) and the polish applied easily without streaking.

It lasted for several days on my toes before it started chipping, which is normal for me.

I wish I could get a manicure or pedicure to last for weeks, but I haven’t found anything that worked, even when I am a good girl and I use a top coat and a base coat.

What have you found that works?

What do you think about Hard Candy’s polishes?

Cures by Avance Age Defyer Eye Review

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

I got the Age Defyer Eye cream from Cures by Avance ($50) in the Beautyfix.

My eyes have been a little on the dry side lately, so I’ve been using it morning and night for about 4 months.

The eye cream applies smoothly, and my makeup goes over it without any problems as long as I wait a few minutes before applying my makeup.

Although it is supposed to help with aging, wrinkles, and dark circles, since I am not having trouble with those problems I can’t comment on that.

Overall I’ve been pleased with this, and I’ll keep using it until it’s gone, but I don’t think that I’ll repurchase it because of the price.

If you’ve tried the Age Defyer Eye, leave a comment and let me know what you think about it, or let me know what your favorite product for the eye area is.
