I have been off the Proactive regimen for about a week now, and I am amazed at how much better my face looks.
I am still using the Proactive Deep Cleansing Wash, and the Proactive Renewing Cleanser, and I’m also using Aveeno’s Positively Radiant Cleanser - basically I’m using whichever one I feel like using that day.
All of the pimples are gone, I am no where near as oily as I was when I was using the Proactive regimen, and my skin texture is much smoother - my pores even appear smaller.
Although I will continue to use the cleansers - at least until they run out, I doubt that I will use the other products from the line.
I was really suprised at how much oilier the Proactive made my skin - I did attribute some of the extra oiliness to the fact that it is getting hotter here in GA, but the majority of that oiliness was gone as soon as I stopped using the Proactive regimen.

I’ve never tried Proactive, and after your comments, I don’t think I will. I started using a new line of skin care this week, Zia Natual Skincare, and find that it works really well with my skin. I have combination skin type and the natural ingredients in Zia’s cleansers, toners, and moisturizers have made my skin look great! Have you ever heard of them or tried their cosmetics? I haven’t yet, but I want to give their foundations and powder a try since I like their skin care so much. As a writer for Beauty Secrets 101, I just added a post giving my review of Zia Natural Skincare.
