The Seattle Times had an article that caught my attention this week. Beauty products The shocking truth that will curl your lashes tells what happens when seven women had a “blind curl-off” with 5 eyelash curlers, ranging in price from $1.97 to $18.

Suprisingly, with as much hype as She Uemura eye lash curlers get on the beauty boards, none of the curl-off participants thought that the She Uemera curler was the most expensive one.

In fact, most of them thought that the $1.99 Red curler from Walgreens was the expensive one.

Even more shockingly 2 out of the 5 curlers tested were noted as not curling lashes.

Maybe that’s why I’m not a big eyelash curler fan.

Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that everytime I tried to curl my lashes with my contacts in they’d pop out.
