Although I don’t normally wear blues and grays on my eyes MAC’s Silversmith Mineralize Eye Shadow is one set of blues that I keep reaching for.
The MAC Cosmetics web site’s shade description describes Silversmith as
“Silver blue with dirty mid-tone blue and white veining (Frost).”
The colors in the eyeshadow are deeper than they appear to be on my monitor, and they work well, even with my blue eyes.
The shadows apply easily, and last throughout the day.
I have used the darker blue as a liner once or twice, and found that the thin liner brush seemed to dig a deeper hole than I would have expected it to do, but that’s the only problem I’ve had.
I have to say that I am really impressed with the Mineralize Eye Shadow, and I wish I’d gotten one more - the Mi’Lady.![]()
The Mi’Lady shade description states:
“Intense blood red and rich purple with white veining (Frost)”
Although I’m sure that this wouldn’t be an everyday shadow like the Silversmith is, it’s still beautiful, and I wish I’d gotten it!
Of course there’s still time …
MAC describes the Mineralize Eye Shadow as:
A sheer, pearled, mineralized powder Eye Shadow with two shades baked together in one pan. Superfine, lightweight: provides a softly tinted, reflective shimmer on the skin with a delicate sense of dimension. Subtly builds colour and shine. Can be worn on face, eyes or body.

This one kinda snuck by me. Maybe someday I’ll do an eBay search to track it down.
