Jeff and I had lunch at the Golden Corral on Thursday, and he’s been sick every since then.
I was lucky - I didn’t get sick until Friday morning.
It’s just a cough/stuffy nose thing, so it’s not too bad, but I was home yesterday, and bored, so I was going to do my makeup.
Then I decided not to do it, because I didn’t want to introduce any germs into it and have to throw it away.
Do you wear makeup when you’re sick?
If you do, do you take any precautions so you don’t contaminate it?
If so what are they?
I don’t think I’ve ever decontaminated my makeup, and usually when I’m sick enough to worry about getting germs in my makeup, I don’t feel like doing my makeup.
Of course I always wear lip balm, so I’m wondering what to do about that.
Any suggestions?

I wear makeup if I’m sick enough to go out, but not if I’m staying home.

Sandy, thanks for sharing with us and welcome.
That’s usually what I do, but not if I’m bored but still too sick to go out. Then I experiment with my makeup.
I can only read and watch tv for so long.
Katee, we’re both better now, but we’ve been so busy with Thanksgiving plans.
Hopefully things will calm down soon.

My makeup is very important to me, the last time I was in the hospital I could barely walk but I shuffled to the bathroom and put my makeup on every day that I was there. I may feel like cr*p, but I really don’t want to look like it to.

Welcome Jen,
Putting on makeup helps me feel better about myself too.
Even just putting on a little lipstick when I’m home and I know I’m not going anywhere helps me feel more polished - and prettier.
