Admittedly, it’s not the look most people are going for, although I know there are some who’d love to look older.
This morning I put on BE Fairly Light foundation, Jane blushing cheeks in blushing glow, and Cargo Plantlove in Sagamaratha.
Everything looked fine, but since the blush and lipstick are a little darker and warmer than the colors I usually wear, I decided to go for a darker shadow.
The first one I saw - literally, was foxy mineral makeup in Ginger Rose.
I wasn’t really sure if this was a blush or a shadow, (the fact that I wasn’t sure should have told me - it’s a blush, so don’t try this at home unless you’re sure it’s safe to use on your eyes) but I guess I was feeling a little rebellious and didn’t care, so I used it, along with foxy mineral makeup’s delicate shadow, which I love, love, love as a wash.
Delicate is perfect for when you want a hint of color without too much sparkle or obvious color, I wear it with almost anything when I don’t want to look too overdone.
After I got the shadow on, I looked in the mirror and thought “Man, I look older today.”
Since I look young anyways, it’s not a big deal for me, but I definitely don’t think I’d want to look older every day.
Have you noticed that certain makeup or certain colors make you look older, or younger?
Leave a comment and tell me about them.
PS Happy 4th of July to my US readers!
