I’ve been using Senna Cosmetics Silky Primer, ($38), and Barely Base Sheer Mineral Makeup, ($36) in Fair for about two weeks now.

I’m very happy with them so far.

I’ve been applying the Barely Base with CoverFX 130 Foundation Brush,($34) and I definitely like using the brush better than I like using my fingers - I’m able to build up the coverage a little more where I need to.

The Barely Base is the first mineral foundation that I’ve found that I like. It provides good coverage, the color is perfect for me, and it’s buildable without looking heavy.

I’ve tried this with and without the primer, and it does seem to last a little longer, and provide more coverage with the Silky Primer.

So far I haven’t had any breakouts or skin problems while I’ve been using the foundation, and I’m pretty happy about that.

I’ll keep you updated on how the Silky Primer and Barely Base are working after a month.
