Sparitual Nail Lacquer in Airhead
I was excited about this before I got my Beautyfix, because it is DBP, Toulene, and Formaldahyde free, so I don’t have to worry about using it while I’m pregnant. I’ve been wanting to paint my nails forever, but I don’t want to use anything if there’s a chance it might hurt the baby.
This is a very pale pink, and when I finally tried this polish on my toes, I was surprised because I couldn’t see any color.
To be fair - I only applied one thin coat, and I didn’t use a base or top coat because I don’t have any that I think are baby safe right now.
I was also 7 months pregnant at the time, and it was hard to get up close and personal with my toes.
The polish applied evenly, and I’m really not sure whether or not it chipped. I asked my husband how the polish looked after a week, and he couldn’t see any color, although I definitely noticed some when I finally got around to removing it.
When I applied the polish to my fingernails, I used a bit thicker coat, so it was a light opaque pink. I still didn’t use a top or base coat, and I ended up getting my hands wet an awful lot so the polish chipped within a day or two.
Of course, all the polishes I’ve tried on my fingernails have chipped within a day or too, regardless of which type of top coat or base coat I use, so that’s too be expected.
If you’ve tried Sparitual Nail Lacquer, or if you have a favorite top/base coat, or a polish that just doesn’t chip leave a comment and tell me about it.
