Mystical Beauty’s Musings

I recieved the Vapour Organic Beauty Atmosphere Luminous Foundation, ($38) to review the week before I had my daughter, and being able to just swipe some foundation on and go has made life a lot easier.

I’ve applied this foundation with my fingers, and with a makeup brush, and I like that I can just swipe the stick on my face, without having to use another applicator.

The foundation applies and blends evenly and smoothly, and I don’t feel like I’m tugging at my skin to get it on.

I was sent the foundation in Light 110, and it is the perfect color for me.

Although the foundation has a moisturizing base, it doesn’t make my skin feel or look oily or greasy, which is great.

I also love that this foundation gives me the benefit of a mineral foundation in a form that doesn’t accentuate any fine lines or dry areas on my face.

In addition to the Atmosphere Foundation, I also received the Vapour Organic Beauty Illusionist Concealer, ($20) in 010.

The concealer also comes in a stick form, and is slightly firmer than the foundation, so I am careful when I apply it around my delicate eye area.

The concealer does a decent job of covering my under eye circles (which are extra dark due to lack of sleep from waking up with the baby at night), and it also covers the broken capillaries on my nose if I apply a couple of layers.

Even with the layers it isn’t obvious that I’m using concealer.

I’ll have reviews of the Siren Lipstick and the Mesmerize Eye Color coming up, but I have to say now that I love that the Eye Color, Siren Lipstick, and Illusionist Concealer all come in different colored tubes, with the name of the color on the top for the eye color and lipstick.

This makes it so much easier for me to tell which product I am grabbing from my makeup case (once I determine which shade goes with which product) and I love not having to open each tube to see what I’m holding.

Vapour Organic Beauty is made from food grade organic products, and the concealer and foundation are both made out of 70% certified organic ingredients, and the packaging for the foundation is made from recycled fiber and a managed forest box and printed with soy ink.

Since all of the packaging looks the same, I’m assuming all of the packaging is made the same way.

If you’ve tried Vapour Organic Beauty, I’d love to know what you think, so leave a comment and let me know.
