MAC Silversmith Mineralize Eye Shadow Review

MAC Silversmith Mineralize Eye Shadow

Although I don’t normally wear blues and grays on my eyes MAC’s Silversmith Mineralize Eye Shadow is one set of blues that I keep reaching for.

The MAC Cosmetics web site’s shade description describes Silversmith as

“Silver blue with dirty mid-tone blue and white veining (Frost).”

The colors in the eyeshadow are deeper than they appear to be on my monitor, and they work well, even with my blue eyes.

The shadows apply easily, and last throughout the day.

I have used the darker blue as a liner once or twice, and found that the thin liner brush seemed to dig a deeper hole than I would have expected it to do, but that’s the only problem I’ve had.

I have to say that I am really impressed with the Mineralize Eye Shadow, and I wish I’d gotten one more - the Mi’Lady.Mi’Lady Mineralize Eye Shadow - picture from MAC

The Mi’Lady shade description states:

“Intense blood red and rich purple with white veining (Frost)”

Although I’m sure that this wouldn’t be an everyday shadow like the Silversmith is, it’s still beautiful, and I wish I’d gotten it!

Of course there’s still time …

MAC describes the Mineralize Eye Shadow as:

A sheer, pearled, mineralized powder Eye Shadow with two shades baked together in one pan. Superfine, lightweight: provides a softly tinted, reflective shimmer on the skin with a delicate sense of dimension. Subtly builds colour and shine. Can be worn on face, eyes or body.

Product Reviews

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

If you have a product that you would like to send me so that I can review it for this site I would be more than happy to do so.

Just email me with the details about the product/products, so that I can decide if it’s something that I think would work for me.

The review will be honest - so if the products don’t work for me, I won’t say they do.

I will however try to determine who the product would benefit, and try to perform the interview with an honest, yet positive spin.

For more info you can fill out this contact form, just make sure you put Product Review, or something similar in the subject so I won’t think it’s junk mail and delete it.

I finally joined Arbonne

Friday, September 1st, 2006

Well, I finally signed up and became an independent consultant for Arbonne last night! Isn’t that exciting.

I know I mentioned joining forever ago - you can find the post here, but it took me a while because my upline said that it was easier to have someone with you the first time you placed an order so you could see all of the cool offers you were eligible for.

I really like that I feel like I’m not alone in this, and even though I’ve told everyone I’m not going to really go out and try to find people to join, they are still willing to help me, and train me.

Of course if someone finds me and wanst to join I wouldn’t mind taking the time to sponsor them - it’s just very time consuming and frustrating trying to find people who are willing to join a direct sales business…of course if I keep hinting at the fact that people in ND can join without paying anything…we’ll see.

If you have any questions about Arbonne, or if you’d like to place an order leave a comment, pm me on the forums , or email me at mystical.beauty at yahoo.com, and I’ll send you my consultant ID.

I know there are a lot of people who haven’t heard of Arbonne, or aren’t to familiar with it (like my mom, or my mother-in-law before the Arbonne meeting) so in a nutshell it’s a direct sales business, which sells botanically based skincare. The line was developed in Switzerland in 1975, and brought to the US in 1980. Rumor has it they will be expanding to Canada soon.

Oh yeah - they also sell makeup! What fun!

Confession Time

Friday, August 18th, 2006

I have a confession…I’m going to become an Arbonne consultant.

My mother in law took me to an Arbonne party about 2 weeks ago - I meant to tell you about it, I really did…

She wants to order some things, so she convinced me to become a consultant so that she could get some products for 30% off.

I live in MN, but if you live in ND you don’t have to pay the $29 fee to join - that’s a great deal.

I’m still going to have to check and see if you get the same stuff in ND.

I’m going to learn how to work the business offline, because I’m interested in learning.

I’m not exactly sure that I will work it offline though.

I am planning on promoting Arbonne online on my sites - it would be irresponsible not too, since I have the websites, and since I have been thinking about adding some ads instead of the adsense ads on the forums.

In fact I have an ebay auction now for 1 month of ad space on Etailers Mall.

Of course I will still have the free ads on Etailers Mall - that’s what the site is all about.

So now you know my secrets.

Oh yeah…unlucky me Josephina has already claimed the Arbonne ad for the cosmetics section of Etailers Mall…and I’m going to leave that up.

I’m not saying that I won’t figure a way to get my stuff in there somehow though :-)

I’m thinking of adding some new options to Etailers Mall, and I need something to test it on.

Calling all Bath and Body, Candle, Makeup, and Jewelry Etailers

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

I’d love to interview you for Etailers Mall.

All interviews would be featured on the website, and mentioned on the Etailers Mall Blog, and over here as well.

Here is the interview information from the Etailers Mall Interviews section of the blog.

If you don’t exactly fit into the above categories, you can still email me, and we can discuss doing an interview that will appear only in the Sarah’s Suprises blog.

If you have a bath, body, candle, cosmetic, or jewelry business, or if you make bath and body products, candles, makeup, or jewelry, I would love to interview you!

If you’d like to leave a comment, or email me at etailersmall at yahoo.com, and let me know that you are interested in doing an interview, and I will email you a set of interview questions that is tailored to your business.

If you are running short on time, you can just answer these questions, and email them to me, and I will post the interview - I will need a way to contact you in case I have any further questions.

Thank you again for taking the time to do an interview!

1. Please tell us a little about your business.

2. When did you decide to start your own business?

3. Why did you decide to open this type of business?

4. What is your favorite product that you sell?

5. What are the three most popular products?

6. Do you have a hidden gem - a product that isn’t getting the recognition that you think it deserves? Please tell us why everyone needs to know about (and use) this product.

7. Where do you find the inspirations for your creations?

8. What are your favorite products?

9. Are there any websites that you visit daily? If so, why?

10. Is there anything else that we should know about you, your business, your products, or your industry?

I need a job!

Tuesday, April 18th, 2006

:-( My assignment just ended.

I kind of thought it was coming - the unofficial word was that assignments only lasted a year, but I didn’t know for sure.

I realized something funny was going on when when I couldn’t log in to do my time card last night - I can’t believe they’d fix it so you can log in to work, but not enter your time card.

Then I got an email this morning saying I’ve worked for a year as of 4/16/06 and temporary employees are only allowed to work for one year.

That kinda sucked. What a way to let someone know they are no longer employed!

I’m still waiting to see if I will be paid for the 8 hours I worked yesterday.

I certainly hope so!

It’s a good time, and a bad time - I thought I’d been working for them for a little over a year.

We are about to make an offer on a house, and although the bank would not include my income because of where I worked, it’s nice to know that we shouldn’t count on it either.

I’ve been praying a lot lately. Your prayers would be appreciated as well.

I’m going to be an affiliate marketing sweetie

Thursday, April 13th, 2006

I just signed up for Alice Seba’s Affiliate Marketing Sweetie Course!

I’m so excited :-)

I’ve been getting her Affiliate Marketing Tips, and I’m on a few of her other lists, and I really like them.

On another note - I just found out we might be able to move June 2nd.

Wow, I really need to find a house!
