I was fortunate enough to receive some Body Butters from Burning Tree Creations to review about 2 weeks ago, and I’ve been using them every since.
I was a little surprised when I opened the jars of body butter, and saw a rosebud in the Rosewood Body Butter (you can see it in the picture) and a tiny orange peel and what looks like 2 small pieces of cinnamon bark and part of a vanilla bean in the Vanilla Orange Spice Body Butter. (more…)

I have a problem.
I’m allergic to earrings.
Allergenic, non allerginic, it doesn’t matter.
In the last 10 years I’ve been able to wear one pair of earrings.
Of course these earrings were purchased for me when I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding, so of course they are a little too formal to wear the majority of the time.
I went to things remembered, where my friend got the earrings, and asked the salesperson what they were made of. She said it was just regular sterling silver.
I’ve tried sterling silver in the past, and it doesn’t usually work, so I’m still not sure what the deal is.
Over the week I gave in and ordered some Epiphany platinum clad diamonique earrings from QVC.
I figured maybe the platinum clad earrings would help.
I got the earrings today.
Before I even put the second one on, my first ear was burning.
Yeah, I’m a glutton for punishment, so I kept wearing it to see if the pain would go away.
Believe it or not, it didn’t.
Within 10 minutes of their arrival the earrings were packed up and ready to go back to the store.
Twenty minuts later, my ears still feel like they are on fire.
I guess I’ll be on the non earring guest list for a bit longer 
If you know of any (easily returnable) earrings that you think would work for my delicate ears, I’d love to know about them.

I got the most wonderful suprise today! A package from Lucky arrived on my doorstep!
I had no idea what was going on, since I wasn’t expecting anything!
If you read my ice cream pants post you might remember me alluding to an aerosoles contest!
I won it and got a pair of beautiful new brown boots from Aerosoles and Lucky.
I was so excited that I couldn’t sit still all afternoon.
This totally made my day!
The amazing thing is that they actually fit! I’ve been looking for boots for years, and I finally found one dressy pair last month. These are more practical, and although they are brown suede (I’m a black shoe kind of girl) boots with a wedge heel, I love them! It’s so much more fun to get shoes that I’d never pick out for myself, and find out that I actually like them.
I only wore them around the house this afternoon, but they seem comfortable. I’m definitely going to wear them when I go out this week.
I do have to fill out a survey, but hey, I’d fill out this survey every day if I got a new pair of shoes!
So far there’s no word on any ulterior motives (or ice cream pants) from Aerosoles.
But I’ll definitely let you know if I hear from them-after I pick myself up off the floor, where I’ve fallen after laughing half to death

I got these Madeline Garbo boots from zappos the other day! I love them! I have been looking for a comfortable pair of boots for years, and I am so glad I found these. I never thought they’d really fit, lol but I was ordering some shoes that I could wear to the reunion, so I decided to get these too.
They are a little wide around my calf, but they are so comfortable, and I’m going to be wearing them with jeans mostly, so I don’t really care
I still can’t believe they are so comfortable, I haven’t worn them out yet, I’m going to wear them during the reunion weekend. Not to the homecoming game though…all we ever did was walk around the track, and I don’t want to get them that dirty the first time I wear them
These fit, and the other ones didn’t. Oh well, ain’t life grand

I got an amethyst marquise cut ring, with a sterling silver band from the Silver Jewelry Club.
It is so beautiful! I am really impressed.
It looks a lot better than the Avon ring I got last year, and that was almost 3 times as much as this one.
The silver is bright and shiny, and the amethyst is gorgeous.
I can’t believe I got such a beautiful piece of jewelry for only $5.99.
And no, I’m not just saying that because I get 50 cents if you buy one using my affiliate link. Which coincidentally just happens to be here!
So hurry, go look now!

Check out this ring from the Silver Jewelry Club! I’m impressed! But I’m still waiting on my amethyst ring to come, and this is a size 7, so it’s way to big for me, boo hoo!
I have noticed that they’ve added some CZ and pink CZ to their usual lineup of gemstones! And they are making even cuter stuff now!

They had some really cool stuff at the silver jewelry club. I saw a moonstone cocktail ring, with clusters of moonstones, it looked like a flower, and it was so pretty. But it wasn’t the right size.
I also saw a heart shaped ring, where the crown - the heart shaped part flipped over, it was white on one side, and black and silver on the other. It was too big though, I was so disappointed when I saw the size, because I really wanted it.
They also had a couple of pairs of cool earrings today too.
You just can’t beat it for $5.99.
