I ran across these Pop-Up Makeup Brushes at bookofjoe this morning.
I think it would be really nice to have nine brushes and a mirror in one place, in a container that wouldn’t get dirty or dingy even if I carried it around in my purse every day.
According to Solutions:
This brush set was created according to the strict guidelines of actress Catherine Hickalnd of One Life to Live, Loving, The City, Knight Rider and other television series and movies. They re-create all of her favorite brushes used on TV and movie sets.
Unfortunately, the web site doesn’t list the type of brushes - just that there are nine brushes in the set.
It’s obvious that a makeup junkie wasn’t involved in writing the description of the set, or they would have listed the types of brushes as well.
What do you think? Would you use Pop-Up makeup brushes?

It’s the first snow of the season!
The flakes are so small you can hardly see them.
How’s your weather?

The bushynose pleco fry are doing great - and Monday we noticed more eggs in the taco.
Rumor has it that they only breed during the fall, and I’m hoping that’s the case, or we’ll be swimming in tons of pleco babies soon.
There were just over three weeks between the first eggs, and the second eggs, so we’ll see what happens next.
As of now Spike still lets the fry in the taco with him and the eggs, but I’m wondering if that will change when the eggs hatch.

In case you’ve noticed we’ve got a new look, on the blog, and at Mystical Beauty.
I still don’t have the logo up across Mystical Beauty, because it took me way to long to find a theme for the blog, and edit it.
I hope you like the new logos!

We woke up Saturday morning, and when we looked at our aquarium the tiny baby plecos were all over it.
Apparently they escaped from the taco.
I’ve counted at least 15, but I know there are some places in the fish tank where they can hide, and I can’t see them.
I was really surprised when I found several of them hanging on in the current from their filter, with their poor tails whipping back and forth.
They seem to like it though, because only one corner of the tank has turbulent water, and that’s the one they chose to hang out in.
We did end up taking Sparrow, the female betta, and Darren and Samantha, the African Dwarf Frogs, out of the aquarium.
So far everyone seems to be getting along well, and the fry are spread all over the tank.
They are so cute, and so small.
We can’t even get a picture with our digital camera on the close up setting, but we’ll keep trying.
Ok, I’m off to see what they are doing now.
