Finally!
I have a few pages up with the new layout!
All of the links in the “reviews” section don’t work, but everything else should!
If it doesn’t, please let me know!

Hope you’re having a great night! I’m off to watch the Lemony Snicket movie, and I’ll work on the website some more when I get up tomorrow!
I’m at least going to make all of the new pages I need to make, I’m not looking forward to editing the site map though!
Being the silly dork I am, I completely screwed up what I had done so far, and had to start all over 
with the changes in the layout,

I made another blog! This is it I hope. I decided that it would be easier to keep the White Lily Blog and the Business blog separate, so that way you would only have to read about the stuff you want too. So from now on I won’t be posting too many business resources here, unless they are really exciting. I will also be moving some of the old posts from here over there, so they will all be in one place. I might still leave them here too, I haven’t decided yet.

Well, I lost all the information on the forums. It looks like I’m starting over. I feel like I’ve actaully lost something. There wasn’t too much going on before-no where near as much as at the old board, so I know I’m in for another long haul. The bad thing was I had worked on the board a lot the day I decided to update and lost everything. I guess the moral of the story is “Back up everything! And save it in two different places!” I did the board backups, and I saved the config.php file, which was the file that I was told I needed in the phpbb installation guide, but that is not working. It might be that there was something wrong with that, that there was something wrong with what I did, or that I messed it up by tring to install it while the nameserver was pointing to the wrong place. Of course I didn’t know about that until it was too late. Oh well. I am going to add a few more things from the old boards in, and call it a day. I still have to work 3 hours sometime at my real job :-). I have spent way too much time working on Mystical Beauty and Etailers Mall these past two weekends.
I need to relax!

Well, I decided to upgrade the mystical beauty forums yesterday. Unfortunately comforthost is having problems, so the changes did not take. Now we are without forums-I even tried reinstalling them completely so I’d at least have something up, and redirecting them, but it didn’t work. So, we have no forums. Not only do we have no forums, I am losing all of the changes I’ve made to the site in the past week-sometimes the links work, and sometimes they don’t. I wish they’d get it all fixed soon so the sites would work! I’ve got 2-3 people that I need to add to etailersmall.com, and I’m scared to add them now, because I am scared it won’t take, or that it will mess the other stuff up. I’ve been waiting to add them to the new web design, but I haven’t heard from Eric about how to fix the contact email forms since last week, and I am not going to put the site up unless it’s fixed. I’m still trying to decide if I want to fix it myself, or just put up the contact me form like it is now, or what. I did try to use the contact forms from fantastico on mystical beauty, and they didn’t work…boo hoo. The bad thing is that I didn’t realize that there were server problems with comforthost. so I spent about 7 hours yesterday trying to get the site to work. I’d upload stuff, and it wouldn’t show up-I even used three different ftp programs-nope, it would show up on their site as being uploaded, but not on cpanel. Then I’d delete stuff, and I’d go back, and it would still be there. Or I would really delete it, and try to reinstall the forum back in that folder, and it would say that that folder already existed. so actually, if everything worked, I should have one forum at /forum, and one at /forums. The one at /forum didn’t show up last night, and the one at /forums did, this morning it’s the reverse. Arrghh!!
The bad thing is they didn’t have any work for me from yesterday around 2:30pm until around 3pm today, and that would have been a great time to work on the websites, and try to get things figured out, but….I’m not going to do it until I figure out what’s going on with the webhosts.
Oh well.

Well, still no work. The site is having trouble. I was a little worried over the weekend, but now I’m fine. I guess problems happen.
I’ve had a lot of time to clean, and take care of the SEO classes. I am learning a lot, but it’s a lot to take in at one time, the good thing is that I can stay as long as I need to, so that’s nice.
I have decided it’s not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket though, so I am going to start applying for more jobs and see what happens.

OK! The SEO class starts tomorrow. I came on at the tail end, so I’m ready to get started. I’ve read a few messages, but not many since I knew we were at the end of the group. It can be a little confusing since they keep the group open continuously and you don’t really know where you are when you join. I was kind of thinking about waiting for the next class anyways, since I don’t have much time, so it was great that I just signed up over the weekend, and came right at the end.
