As I step outside into the warm evening air, a loud, deep voice beckons “Welcome!”
I hear the eerie sounds of a spooky tune, and a shiver runs up my spine.
I know soon I will be inside, locked safely inside my house, and I hope that the walls of my house will muffle the screams I know will soon begin.
Screams of terror, that start as soon as darkness falls, and continue through the wee hours of the night.
For Halloween has come, with it’s ghost and vampires. Halloween, with its witches and ghouls.
Halloween has come, with it’s haunted houses.
One of which happens to be located a block behind mine.
