With all the job stuff going on, and my sister-in-law (sil) and my neice here to help us fix up the house I won’t have much time to post.

What a nice sister-in-law to come and help you with your new home! Enjoy your niece…I can only imagine how precious she is at this stage. Hunter, Scooby and Scrappy are really gonna feel like ther territory has been invaded……..lol. Have a wonderful time!

You might not think “What a nice sister-in-law to come and help you with your new home!” if you saw the black paint on my off white carpet

So far there are 2 dime sized splotches, 2 smaller smears (how did paint get underneath the cardboard we were using to block the carpet) and a row along the edge of the carpet where the tile we are painting meets the carpet.

And we still have at least one more coat to go.

Yeah…before you let someone volunteer to paint for you you should definitely ask for their views about paint on carpet.

If they say - “well you’re going to get paint on the carpet regardless of what we do because the tile meets the carpet”….run far far away!

Unless of course you like the painted carpet look.
