It’s been one of those days.
I looked at the blog’s cached page, and realized there are words and links showing up in the heading that I didn’t put there, and I can’t figure out how to get rid of.
I went to not one but 3 different places yesterday and all of the notaries were out of the office, so this morning I went to the bank to make a deposit (you know, the deposit I forgot to take with me to the bank yesterday, and to get my pretty little affadavit notarized.
Of course, I had taken it out to call the tag office, and see if they had gotten my original affadavit, and forgotten to put it back in my purse.
So during the 5 minutes that I was in the bank someone hit my car, and dented the rear panel, and scratched up the bumper.
I was freaking out.
The car’s not dented bad, but it’s my baby, and the fact that someone would hit it and leave really irritates me.
And of course there’s always that feeling you get when you someone violates your space and damages your personal property.
I told DH about a month after we moved here that my car had gotten more damage in one month in Minnesota and North Dakota than it had in 5 years in Georgia.
Isn’t that terrible.
I drive the same - I don’t park too close to other cars because I have a 2 door, and I want to make sure that I have enough room to get out of the car without dinging anyone else’s car - or messing up mine.
There have been several times when I’ve even gotten in the passengers side and crawled over to the front seat to ensure that nobody’s car got messed up when someone else parked 4 inches away from me.
But it doesn’t matter - because nobody here cares whether or not they damage your car.
The ironic thing is, that I parked as far away from all the other cars as I could get … just because I didn’t want to have to pull between 2 cars.
And what do I have to show for it…the knowledge that if you dent my car really bad you’ll see white stuff.
Yay me.
Anyways that’s my excitement for the day - I actually feel better after blogging about it.
Hopefully all your days are way better than my day today!

Man, that really irritates me,too. Some people have no scruples!!! Mom and Dad always taught us to leave a note on the windshield if we ever hit a car if we couldn’t contact the owner. Of course, we were to find the other driver if possible! I accidently hit a mailbox once and I had to pay f or the damages.
I learned a lot from that experience!
I hope your car isn’t damaged too badly! I know how proud you were of that convertible. I’m glad you weren’t hurt! Hang in there, girl. Things have to get better!!!!!!!!

Thanks! It isn’t too bad, but it’s enough to annoy me, becuase I know it’s there, and it was perfect before.
