One of the many things DH and I would like to do with our new house is to get a new front door, screen door, and nicer doorlocks.
I was rather surprised on one of our visits to the loca home improvement store to find door locks that let you use your fingerprint to get in the door.
I’m not exactly sure how I feel about that.
Although it would be nice to come home, put your finger on the Fingerprint door lock and open the door without fumbling for keys, it still seems kind of odd.
And then to realize that some locks have room for up to 99 fingerprints!
Right now I can think of 2 people I would want to have unlimited access to my house…there’s no way I could come up with 99 if I had too
Of course I’m pretty sure you don’t have to use all 99 spaces at once.
But it would be funny if you had too.
Some of the locks also have pin numbers, and key access so if you leave your finger at home you’ll still be able to get in the house.
Yeah, it’s early, and I haven’t had all of my morning coffee.
I’m a little bit punchy.
What do you think of using your fingerprint to unlock the door to your house?
Would you do it? Consider it? Never consider it?
