Surprisingly enough, there are a ton of people that find my blog by searching for Lipstick Mona Lisa.
After searching myself, I can see why.
I haven’t been able to find a picture of the Lipstick Mona Lisa flowering, so I decided to share mine with you.
Doesn’t it look like a lipstick?
Here is a picture of it with the flowers open.

The pics are a little fuzzy, I had to take them with the camera phone.
I hope you don’t mind.

I have heard of the “lipstick plant” but I have never seen one. Thanks for posting the photo. It is a unique and beautiful plant! You have so many pretty plants.

Thank you Sarah2!
It is a beautiful plant, I’m really excited that I got it, and that it finally bloomed! I had no idea what it was when I got it, I just new the name, and that the leaves were pretty.

How to I care for the mona lisa lipstick plant?

Hi Kim,
Thanks for stopping by.
The instructions that I’ve found say “Grow in indirect or curtain-filtered bright light. Keep the soil barely moist at all times. Keep above 65 F. Feed every other monoth with 20-20-20 fertilizer when soil is moist.”
I do keep my plant in a window, and I try to keep the soil moist.
I haven’t been fertilizing every other month, but the plant is still doing great.
Good luck with your Mona Lisa!
